BIO.

Bea Tricks taught herself the art of DJing as she was determined to take to the decks to express her great taste in music at the best clubs around the world! Over the last 10 years she has succeeded in doing this with her very own recognizable style.

In 2004 Bea joined forces with Xo-Chic to form Dollz at Play. This female DJ duo have set dance floors alight all over Europe, Asia and America. Together they have achieved residencies at internationally known clubs such as The End & Paramount in London & Underground & DC10 in Ibiza playing for Superfreq (Mr.C´s legendary club brand)& Fabric in London (June 2012) and have also rocked the decks at some of the worlds hottest venues alongside the industries top musical representatives. The Dollz At Play released their debut EP called “Oscura Wand In Paris” on Wagon Repair Records.

Beatmaster G

It was in Ibiza that Bea met beatboxer and producer Beatmaster G where she embarked on a separate new project as Bea Tricks With the debut ¨Be at Risk¨ EP Also on Wagon Repair, awarded Top Tune in DJ Mag.
Bea Tricks & Beatmaster formed Class B Band releasing on labels as Wagon Repair, My Favorite Robot, Get Physical, Superfreq Records and Starkfuture Recording.

Beatmaster G is now considered to be one of the best beatboxers / multivocalists on this planet. He has been one of the pioneers in the resurgence of human beatbox into the modern musical spectrum. With more than eight years of performance history, he has introduced his art form to thousands of people around the globe with a unique style that has created a following.

Influenced by beats of all musical genres, he is a truly versatile performer and producer with a variety of skills that enable him to bring on excitement and awe to a whole range of audiences. He has performed alongside top international artists and Djs worldwide at numerous festivals and theatres, top TV shows, radio etc. all around Europe and reaching Japan and North Africa.

Their Music:

Is like your favourite 80’s horror and spy B movies, Quentin Tarantino, Elvis, an android, a drunk Mexican, a dose of dark humour, Sci-fi and anti-hero comics, and a bunch of new and vintage audio gear in a sonic blender and hitting the ‘SMOOTHIE’ button… It’s crazy!… but FRESH!

Their attitude:

Is inventive, crazy, thoughtful, fun, electric and analogue. The cool side of the dark side… Original!

Their vision:

Is to conquer the world and spread cool vibes over the zombies that ´need awakening´ for a musical existence… Basically, play in the world´s hot spots for good crowds that are willing to be introduced to something exciting and different.

Their Rendezvous:

They met at a sushi restaurant. They were introduced by their mutual friend Pepito Grillo, who was convinced they had to unite their forces to “create”. He was right! A month and a half later they had accomplished their first EP “Be At Risk” that Wagon Repair received with their arms wide open and that achieved the “Top Tune” status awarded by IDJ magazine. Their collaboration proved to be worthy not only because of their accomplishments but because they share a vision of music and they have the extraordinary skill of being able to have fun whilst they work hard making it.
